I am a ceramic artist who embraces the balance between perfection and imperfection of nature, figures, and patterns. My expression in art focuses on emotion and memory of my experiences throughout the migration. Growing up in several countries allowed me to interact with different art styles, such as South East Asian, East Asian, and Western cultural values in art. Coming from the background of Ceramic culture, Clay is my mean medium for my sculptures and pottery. My sculptures combine traditional and modern techniques to show my cultural identity. I focused on using color and texture to amplify the viewer's interaction with my artwork. I don't usually have a specific explanation for my art pieces to allow the viewers to think and expresses using their emotion and experiences.
